संक्षिप्त परिचय-ललितपुर डिस्ट्रिक्ट झांसी डिविजन का हिस्सा है. उत्तर प्रदेश की सभी जिलों में ललितपुर डिस्ट्रिक्ट अपना अहम स्थान रखता है. वर्तमान में यह बुंदेलखंड राज्य का हिस्सा है, जिसका ज्यादातर भाग मध्य प्रदेश से मिला है और पूर्व में झांसी मंडल से जुड़ा है. उत्तर प्रदेश के उत्तर में कुल 17 मुख्य भाग हैं, जिनमें से झांसी मुख्य है. झांसी की मुख्य तीन मुख्य डिस्ट्रिक्ट में जालौन, झांसी और ललितपुर आते हैं. भारतीय रेलवे के लिहाज से झांसी और ललितपुर काफी अहम है, क्योंकि यह उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश का काफी क्षेत्र तक पहुंच रखता है. ऐतिहासिक परिप्रेक्ष्य- इतिहास के पन्नों में देखें तो ललितपुर डिस्ट्रिक्ट चंदेरी राज्य का मुख्य हिस्सा था. यह 17वीं शताब्दी में बुंदेला राज्य का हिस्सा था जो 18वीं शताब्दी में यह मराठा साम्राज्य के अधीन था जिसके बाद यह अंग्रेजों को सौंप दिया गया. 1857 की क्रांति में अंग्रेजों के हाथ से यह स्थान निकल गया लेकिन 1858 में अंग्रेजों ने इस जिले पर पुन: कब्जा कर लिया. इसी के बाद से इसे ललितपुर जिला मुख्यालय घोषित कर दिया गया. मैनपुरी डिस्ट्रिक्ट आगरा मंडल के अंतर्गत आता है. मैनपुरी अपनी ठेठ बोली के कारण उत्तर प्रदेश में काफी मशहूर है. कला और शिल्प उत्पाद जैसे लकड़ी की मूर्तियां, कांच की माला, क्लासिक जरी के काम, रेशम की साड़ी, मिट्टी के बर्तन, कालीन के लिए प्रसिद्ध ये जिला अपने भारतीयता के लिए जाना जाता है. ऐतिहासिक परिदृश्य- मैनपुरी, कन्नौज मंडल के मुख्य जिलों में से एक है. राज्य के पतन के बाद इसे रियासतों में विभाजित किया गया था, जिनमें से राफरी और भोंगांव प्रमुख रहे। 1194 में राफरी को मुस्लिम गवर्नर का गढ़त बनवा दिया गया. मैनपुरी 18 वीं शताब्दी के अंत में बेहतर स्वरूप पा चुका था. इसके बाद अवध प्रांत का हिस्सा बन गया. बाद में मैनपुरी जिला अंग्रेजों को सौंप दिया गया था. वर्ष 1801 में मैनपुरी शहर इटावा जिले का मुख्यालय बन गया. सन् 1585 में मैनपुरी में तैनात रेजिमेंट ने विद्रोह किया और कस्बे पर हमला किया था. प्रशासनिक ढ़ाचा- मैनपुरी जिले में 6 तहसील शामिल हैं, जिनका नाम मैनपुरी, भोंगांव, करहल, किशनी, कुरावली और घिरोर है. यह उत्त Read more...
