Annie Joseph, secretary general News Broadcasting Standards Authority reverted to the official complaint against ABP News and Kishan Singh Rawat for their wrong reporting and has requested Mr. Kishan Singh Rawat to respond to the complaint immediately as they have not responded in the allotted time earlier.
Our Complaint said: No response till date in spite of frequent requests through e-mails and official letters to Mr. Kishan Singh Rawat over Jan Man report on Lucknow Gomti River front. 9 PM show of ABP News-Jan man report broadcasted on 13 Sep 2016 titled 'UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to build gomti river front to give Lucknow attractive makeover' , showed one facade of the Gomti riverfront and beautifully glossed out its adverse effects. We supported our complaint with our research and requested its incorporation. But there was no response from Kishan Singh Rawat.
Ballotboxindia.com dissented over the report and instigated Kishan Singh Rawat to atone the report or release a corrigendum.
Report violated the Rule 6 of the code and ethics of Broadcasting for showing only one facade and hiding the environmental aspect. Ballotboxindia.com has provided all the research elements in support of their complaints.
Ballotboxindia.com filed an official complaint and sent several emails requesting and stating the same but none of the messages or emails were reverted. Out of options Ballotboxindia.com sought News Broadcasting Standards Authority intervention and filed a complaint against Kishan Singh Rawat.
We received a reply for our complaint from Secretary general News Broadcasting Standards Authority Annie Joseph.
In response to our mail, Annie Joseph requested Kishan Singh Rawat with premonition to revert to our complaint immediately.
