Point very well said. India especially, with such a huge population and rapid urbanization needs environmental controls and a good waste disposal mechanism more than ever. sadly such regulatory mechanisms hardly exists and everyone thinks they can just milk the environment without facing the consequences. High time we did something about it.
Is there a law or an environmental bill in offing which at least touches upon the above aspects? We need to dig deeper- rope in environmentalists or such experts on how such frameworks could be implemented along with other environmental laws and implemented after that.
