कृष्णी नदी बेसिन में तितलियों की विविधता और संरक्षण: जारी शोध

हिंन्डन नदी की सबसे बडी सहायिका कृष्णी नदीे जनपद शामली की बीच से होकर बहती है, ये नदी सहारनपुर के कृष्णी नवादा गांव से निकलती है और 152 किमी की यात्रा करके दाहा जनपद बागपत में हिन्डन नदी में मिल जाती है।निर्मल हिन्डन जिला समिति- शामली की टीम ने पिछले 2 माह में जनपद सहारनपुर , शामली और बागपत में कई खोज अभियान आयोजित किए और तितलियों की जैविक विविधता का अध्य्यन किया। इस त्वरित अध्य्यन में पाया गया कि यहां तितलियों की 5 फैमिली की लगभग 115 से ज्यादा प्रजाति आज भी मौजूद है। त्वरति शोध में पाया गया कि फैमिली Hesperiidae की (15) , Lycaenidae की (35), Nymphalidae की (15), Papilionidae की (9) और Pieridae की (27) प्रजातियां कृष्णी नदी बेसिन में वास कर रही है।

मगर अफसोस की बात ये है कि ये मासूम जीव तरह तरह के मानव जनित संकटों से जूझ रही है, घटते आवास और किसानों द्वारा किया जा रहा अन्धाधुन्द कीटनाशकों का प्रयोग इनकी अस्तित्व को संकट की ओर ले जा रहा है, इस दिशा में जल्द से जल्द कुछ किया जाना बेहद जरूरी है। पिछली कई सभ्य समाज और प्रशाषण की बैठकों मेें ये प्रस्ताव भी पारित हुआ था कि नदी की जैवविविधता के संरक्षण के लिए तितली जैवविविधता पार्क आदि की स्थापना की जानी है, जिसपर त्वरित रूप से अमल करने की आवश्यकता है.

तितलियाँ और उनसे जुडी जैविक विविधता पर्यावरण के स्वास्थ्य का सही स्वरुप बताती हैं, इनपर संकट इलाके के पारिस्थिकी तंत्र पर आने वाले संकट का प्रथम चरण है. इस मुद्दे को लगातार ट्रैक और जुड़े कारणों पर विचार और निवारण के कदम उठाने की अवश्यक्कता है.
