राजनीतिक जीवन
राकेश जी ने वर्ष 1987 में सक्रिय राजनीति के अंतर्गत भागीदारी की. प्रारंभ में वें राष्ट्रीय लोकदल से जुड़े रहे तथा उसके बाद समाजवादी पार्टी से जुड़कर कार्यरत रहे. सपा के अंतर्गत राकेश जी ने कार्यकारिणी सदस्य, नगर सचिव और सीसामऊ विधानसभा अध्यक्ष के पद पर कार्य किया.
