जानीए पूर्वी चंपारण से नरकटिया विधानसभा की कुछ अहम बातें

पूर्वी चंपारण भारत में बिहार राज्य का एक प्रशासनिक जिला है। जिला मुख्यालय मोतिहारी में स्थित है।
चंपारण नाम की उत्पत्ति चंपा-अरण्य या चंपकटनी से हुई है। चंपा या चंपक का अर्थ है मैगनोलिया और अरण्य का अर्थ है वन। इसलिए, चंपारण्य का अर्थ है वन ऑफ मैगनोलिया (CHAMPA) पेड़। पूर्वी चंपारण तिरहुत डिवीजन (तिरहुत) का एक हिस्सा है। यह वर्तमान में रेड कॉरिडोर का एक हिस्सा है। 2011 तक, यह पटना के बाद बिहार का दूसरा सबसे अधिक आबादी वाला जिला है। गंडक, बुरही गंडक और बागमती इस क्षेत्र से होकर बहने वाली महत्वपूर्ण नदियाँ हैं।
  

नरकटिया विधानसभा की कुछ  बाते-

नरकटिया विधानसभा बिहार के पूर्वी चंपारण जिले में स्थित हैं, और यह पशिम चंपारण लोकसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत आता है। शमीम अहमद (आरजेडी) नरकटिया विधान सभा के वर्तमान विधायक हैं। नरकटिया स्थानीय भाषा मैथिली है।  जेडी (यू), आरएलएसपी, भारतीय जनता पार्टी, एलजेपी, आरजेडी इस क्षेत्र के प्रमुख राजनीतिक दल हैं। यहां की सबसे बढ़ी समस्या युवाओं को रोजगार के अभाव में दूसरे राज्योॆ मेॆ पलायन की मजबूरी को उच्च शिक्षा के लिए मोतिहारी जाना पढ़ता हैं, और साथ  ही सिंचाई व्यवस्था का बुरा हाल भी हैं।
