वार्ड 109, नाजिर नाग वार्ड कानपुर जिले के अंतर्गत आने वाले वार्डों में से एक है. जिसमें पार्षद के तौर पर वर्ष 2017 से समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रतिनिधि हाजी सुहेल अहमद कार्यरत हैं. इस वार्ड में तकरीबन 25,000 की आबादी का रहवास है, जो अधिकांश मुस्लिम बहुल है.
मिश्रित आबादी वाले नाजिर नाग वार्ड के अंतर्गत जीविका के प्रमुख साधन मिले जुले हैं. यहां छोटे व्यापारियों, दुकानों इत्यादि के साथ साथ नौकरीपेशा और मजदुर वर्ग की भी बसाकत देखी जा सकती है. यानि यहां हर तबके के लोगों का निवास है. इस वार्ड की विशेषता यह है कि यहां दुकानों की संख्या काफी अधिक है, यानि रोजगार के रूप में वार्ड के निवासियों ने छोटी अथवा बड़ी दुकानों के जरिये व्यवसाय स्थापित किये हैं.
यदि मौलिक सुविधाओं की बात की जाये तो वार्ड में और वार्ड से सटे इलाकों में स्कूलों और स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रों की संख्या अधिक नहीं है, जिसके चलते आम जनता को खासी दिक्कतें उठानी पड़ती हैं.
