जुड़वाँ शहर अयोध्या और फैजाबाद की नगर पालिका बोर्ड को समाप्त कर प्रदेश सरकार ने अयोध्या नगर निगम की स्थापना करते हुए यहाँ बनाए गए नए वार्ड का नामकरण क्रांतिकारियों, ऐतिहासिक व्यक्तियों एवं धार्मिक-सांस्कृतिक स्थानों के नाम पर किया है. सहादतगंज वार्ड में स्थानीय विकास की जिम्मेदारी का वहन बहुजन समाज पार्टी से मीरा देवी कर रही हैं, जो वर्ष 2017 से इस वार्ड में पार्षद रहते हुए क्षेत्रीय विकास का दायित्त्व निभा रहे हैं और हरिनाथ पासी पार्षद प्रतिनिधि के रूप में उन्हें सहयोग दे रहे है.

शिक्षा व्यवस्था के तौर पर इस वार्ड में माध्यमिक प्राथमिक विद्यालय नाम से एक प्राइमरी स्कूल है. साथ ही कुछ संख्या में प्राइवेट स्कूल भी हैं, जो शिक्षा सुविधा के लिहाज से बेहतर विकल्प हैं. स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की बात की जाए तो वार्ड में सरकारी अस्पताल की सुविधा नही है. परन्तु दिव्या हॉस्पिटल जैसे कुछ प्राइवेट स्कूल वार्ड में हैं. इसके अतिरिक्त एक आंगनबाड़ी है और बच्चों को टीका लगाने का केंद्र है.

बात यदि वार्ड की प्रमुख
समस्याओं की बात की जाए तो पार्षद प्रतिनिधि हरिनाथ पासी के अनुसार उनके वार्ड में
कोई गंभीर समस्या नही है. जी भी समस्या क्षेत्र में उत्पन्न होती है, उसका समय से निदान हो जाता है. सड़कों, सीवर लाइट व पेयजल की व्यवस्था भी वार्ड में बेहतर है.
