साथ ही पब्लिक यूटिलिटी के स्थानों के तौर पर वार्ड में अलाहाबाद बैंक, अमर उजाला कार्यालय इत्यादि मौजूद हैं और आम जन के भ्रमण के लिए यहां विवेकानंद पार्क, दास नगर पार्क, कैगढ़ पार्क, इंडियन प्रेस पार्क, रामपुरी पार्क उपस्थित हैं. साथ ही यहां लहुराबीर रोड स्थित गायत्री माता मंदिर भी मौजूद है, जो काफी पुराना है और भक्तों के मध्य बेहद लोकप्रिय भी है.

वार्ड की प्रमुख समस्याओं की बात की जाये तो स्थानीय पार्षद के अनुसार, उनके वार्ड ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे वाराणसी में सीवर की समस्या अत्यन्त गंभीर है. जिसकी वजह से गंदा पानी ओवरफ्लो होकर सड़कों तथा गलियों में भर जाता है. जिसके चलते हर साल दो साल में गलियां व सड़कें खराब हो जाती हैं तथा उन पर दोबारा कार्य कराना पड़ता है, जिससे जनता के समय के साथ ही सरकारी पैसे का भी दुरूपयोग होता है. इसके अलावा वार्ड में पेयजल भी एक बड़ी समस्या है तथा क्षेत्र के लोगों को शुद्ध पानी नहीं मिल पा रहा है.
